
Gregg A. Nathanson, a shareholder of the firm, recently spoke at the Michigan Realtors’ Annual Convention in Grand Rapids. Mr. Nathanson’s main topic was Anatomy of a Commercial Real Estate Transaction. His talk focused on six areas of a real estate transaction: Letters of Intent, Purchase Agreements and Due Diligence, Psychological Defects, Financing, Governmental Approvals and Section 1031 Like Kind Exchanges.
He also participated in a panel discussion on commercial transactions as part of the Commercial Board of Realtors’ 4 hour segment of continuing education. This was geared toward educating licensed real estate professionals about commercial real estate transactions.
