Couzens Lansky was pleased to host a luncheon meeting with the Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association’s (DMAA) Legislative Committee and State Senator Rosemary Bayer. The Committee discussed current legislation in Lansing with Senator Bayer that deals with a host of issues for multi-family housing in Southeast Michigan. Phil Neuman, a member of the firm, has been the Chairperson of the Legislative Committee since its inception in 2002. The DMAA, which consists of property owners, property managers and supplier partners, strives to create, advance and maintain good relations between the multi-family housing industry and the general public.
