Phillip J. Neuman, a shareholder of the firm, recently received a favorable ruling from The Michigan Court of Appeals. The Michigan Court of Appeals affirmed the lower court’s ruling in favor of Mr. Neuman’s client in the case of Talbot v Davis (Docket No. 323240). In this case, Phil Neuman’s client purchased a home following a foreclosure, and the prior owners filed suit challenging the purchaser’s title to the property. Both the trial court and the Court of Appeals held that the prior owners lacked standing to challenge the foreclosure and dismissed the action. Mr. Neuman concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate and litigation and dispute resolution.
